Sk8r Boyz wear PINK

To be honest, my 9 year old was not "thrilled" with the idea of wearing a pink shirt AT ALL. However when I told him that it was for a photo shoot to support "Breast Cancer Awareness", and that even men and boys can wear this color, he was all for it. These 2 boys are my heart, they express so much in a little smile or glance that is so hard for THIS Mom to even describe. Kadyn and Preston are sometimes hard on the outside, but I know they're all soft and pure on the inside. That is how I came up with this idea for the PINK photo contest at I HEART FACES! Even manly men can wear PINK!

Friends Forever

Preston and Finley, the best of friends. Preston is 4 years old, and Finley is 1 1/2 years. No matter what Preston is doing, or where he is going, Finley is right next to his side, or tagging along at his heels! When Preston is gone, Finley walks around aimlessly searching, and when his searching turns up no Preston, Finley will go and lay on his bed and wait for his return. We're still waiting for some of our spring flowers! Living in Oregon, one thing is for sure, you can NEVER count on the weather being "normal". Being Preston's Mom...

Motherhood is always interesting when it comes to my household! This is just an example of what "motherhood" is to me. This is my youngest son Preston throwing a fit AND his boots at me as we head up from the beach today! He had looked so stinkin' cute with his cowboy attire on this morning, I really just wanted to get at least one good shot. I got the shot a few minutes prior to this, so I was ready to head back home. HE was not, so after he decided to take his boots off he decided he wanted to throw them at me...AHHHHHH the interesting times of being Preston's Mommy! Trouble

I LOVE I Heart Faces!! The photo challenge this week is PETS, and I knew as soon as reading that, this photo was going to be my entry! This is Gunnar about to get plowed over by the much younger Finley! This has to be one of my all time favorite captures! The look on Finley's face is priceless, and Gunnar just KNOWS too that he's about to get knocked over. I was so excited about the "wind" theme over at I HEART FACES this week! This is one of my all time favorite shots of my little man Preston, I have it proudly hanging on the wall in our home! "Shadow's" is the theme at I Heart Faces this week. These are my Loves walking the beach, unknowing that I am capturing their every move behind them. I adore this shot, with all of its elements, and of course the perfect shadow reflections showing up behind them. I couldn't have asked for a better day for this shot, with more perfect subjects! Flyin' High Flare

  SUN FLARE! I love it! This is my little man Preston having a fabulous time FLYING THOUGH THE AIR! Living on the Oregon Coast, we don't see many blue skies like this, and the sun flare stands out so strong! I knew right away that this was the perfect shot for this challenge, I hope you love it as much as I do!

I had done my hair and makeup, and decided why not! This was my standout favorite! I hope you like it, and I hope I get lots of votes! Enjoy!

What a fun theme at at http://iheartfaces.com this week! “Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes…Anything But A Face!” When I read this I instantly thought about this shot that I have my little man, when we were playing airplane! It wasn't easy, but it sure was FUN!~
